Fire protection for wood

The KBS^® Fire Protection System offers various coatings for the protection of wood in the case of fire.




KBS^® Woodcoat
KBS^® Woodcoat Transparent and KBS^® Woodcoat White are proven products for the passive fire protection of wood.

When using KBS^® Woodcoat on solid wood, flat press board, particle board and veneer plywood non-propagating surfaces are formed at a coverage of min. 350 g/m².

KBS^® Woodcoat-products are solvent free and do not contain any halogenated compounds. They hamper the ignition of constructive elements made of wood as well as the further combustion/ fire propagation on their surface. Moreover they suppress the development of smoke.

KBS^® Woodcoat-products are applied on wooden surfaces indoors. When using them in accordance with the usual application methods, such as spraying, brushing or rolling they excel by their extraordinary simple and neat application properties.
